After navigating ourselves through some thousands of submissions our under 12’s boys have got through to the final 50 in Volkswagen’s inaugural Junior Masters Football competition. Our boys have been the clubs representatives in the local Councils ‘kickin goals‘ initative aimed at taking sport out into our community to groups who may not know we exist or who may not have the means to access it. Our boys and their families and their parents have given up a number of  Sunday afternoons to attend a variety of Community events .This just happens to be in keeping with the Volkswagen Community sport involvement philosophy and is ideally suited to fit in to VW Australia’s first year involvement in the VW Junior World Masters Football Tournament. Out of the thousands of teams that have applied, Volkswagen is looking for a combination of community involved children who can play football and not forget to have some fun along the way. Fingers crossed our submission reflects this and is enough to get us consideration for the Sydney tournament .The winner of this final 20 competition in Sydney in October wins the right to an all expenses paid trip to represent Australia in Poland next May. So first things first let’s all think good thoughts on getting or boys to Sydney.
